Ormonde Mining digs up good Spanish results

Ormonde Mining said today that its latest test drilling in Spain had produced encouraging, high-grade results for tungsten.

Ormonde said a drillhole in the Filon Principal (FP) Zone at its Barruecopardo project in Salamanca had intersected a 3 metre zone containing 1% tungsten trioxide and that over a broader 13 metre zone the grading was 0.25%.

'This first hole in the FP Zone is a very encouraging development at the project,' Managing Director Kerr Anderson said in a statement.

'It demonstrates the potential for significant widths of high-grade tungsten within this extensive zone,' he added.
