Concrete products group Readymix has bought Co Tipperary-based Denis Tarrant & Sons for a total of €11.5m in cash.
Denis Tarrant & Sons, an aggregate and readymixed concrete business, had turnover of €8.1m last year. The business has gross assets of €8.6m, including cash in hand of €1.3m.
This acquisition is an important addition to growing our core business of aggregate and ready-mixed concrete and it extends our market coverage across the south,' commented Roger Gonzalez, Managing Director at Readymix.
