Dunnes Stores opened a new store at the Citywest Shopping Centre in Saggart, Co Dublin, today.
The new 76,736 sq feet store, situated just off the main Blessington Road, will create 200 new jobs.
It has grocery, textiles and homeware divisions.
The shopping centre also provides fashion, sports, pharmacy, books and jewellery retailers, as well as a selection of restaurants.
Its car park is able to accommodate up to 675 vehicles.
The centre will also benefit from a proposed Luas extension planned for 2009/2010.
