Pharmaceutical and healthcare services group United Drug has bought a Dutch-based packaging group in a deal which could be worth €20.9m.
United is buying Pharma Logistics Investment (PLI), which is based in Heerenveen in the north of the Netherlands. PLI specialises in packaging for pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
United is paying €15.4m in cash, with another €5.5m depending on performance targets over the next three years.
The company made its first acquisition on continental Europe earlier this year, buying a Belgian packaging company.
