US financial giant Citigroup has completed the acquisition of financial services group Bisys, which employs almost 600 people in Ireland.
Bisys has offices in Ballsbridge and George's Quay in Dublin and in Waterford. It provides fund management and investment services.
Citigroup now employs more than 2,000 people here and claims to be the largest foreign bank in Ireland by staff numbers.
