An official estimate shows that the annual rate of inflation in the euro zone held steady in June at 1.9% for the fourth month running.
The figure, which met economists' expectations, remains in line with the European Central Bank's preference for a rate of less than but close to 2%.
With economic activity in the euro zone brisk, the ECB is keen to keep inflation pressures firmly under control and is widely expected to raise its key interest rates in September.
Separate European Commission figures showed that economic confidence in Europe stabilised in June after a reaching a six-year high in May.
The Commission's euro zone economic sentiment indicator eased in June to 111.7 points from 112.1 in May.
'The stabilisation of economic sentiment in the EU was the net effect of an increase in confidence in the industry sector offsetting declines in the services and retail trade sectors and among consumers,' the Commission said.
But a separate euro zone business climate indicator from the Commission showed a slight improvement, rising to 1.54 points in June from 1.52 points in May and against economists' expectations for a slight decline to 1.48.
