Waste collection company, Panda Waste, has agreed a deal to collect cardboard and plastics from Dunnes Stores sites nationwide, creating up to 16 jobs.
The Co Meath-based based firm said the new contract fits in with its expansion plans, which include the take-over of the cardboard recycling section of Smurfit Kappa.
The firm said waste paper it collects will be reprocessed in paper mills adhering to environmental guidelines.
