A private equity vehicle headed by financier Niall McFadden, listed today on secondary stock markets in Dublin and London.
The investment vehicle for Boundary Management Limited (BML), Boundary Capital, is now listed on the IEX in Dublin and the Alternative Investment Market (Aim) in the UK.
The company says it raised a total of €25.25m, with the placing shares priced at €1.00 per ordinary share giving the company a market capitalisation value of around €53m.
Davy Corporate Finance is acting as nominated advisor and broker.
The company already has a portfolio of initial investments across a number of sectors including : business services (Veris), educational publishing (CJ Fallon) and site services and construction (Siteserv).
Niall McFadden, chairman, said: 'We are looking to build a balanced portfolio of investments and to work with the management of investee companies to develop those companies'.
He added that the company expects to make a number of acquisitions with the next year.
