A company which develops and manufactures solar and wind energy technology plans to create 31 new jobs over the next two years at its Mayo headquarters.
Surface Power Technologies, which is based in Tourmakeady, said the new funding package would concentrate on research, development and export growth.
The new money is being provided by private investors John Quinn, Martin Neary and Padraig O Ceidigh, the founder of Aer Arann. Údaras na Gaeltachta is contributing €400,000.
The company specialises in designing renewable energy technology specifically for the Irish and British climates.
