Irish communications company, Intellicom, plans to open a customer services call centre in Carlow, with the creation of 100 jobs.
Operations are planned to commence in midJune.
The new jobs will almost double the Clonmel-based firm's employee figures, bringing to over 200 the number of staff Intellicom will now employ throughout the country.
The new jobs will be based in Intellicom's new premises in the IDA Technology Park on the Dublin Road.
