Bord Gáis CEO, Gerry Walsh, is to retire at the end of July after nearly seven years in the role, it was announced today. Bord Gáis said it has started a process to recruit his successor.
Mr Walsh joined Bord Gáis in 1985 and held a number of management positions until 2000, when he was appointed CEO, and to the board.
Chairman, Ed O'Connell said: 'As Chief Executive of Bord Gáis, Gerry Walsh played an outstanding role where he will leave a legacy that will live on for some time'.
