Cavan-based company McCarrens & Co is to invest €2.5m in an expansion of its pig processing facility.
The extension, which is supported by Enterprise Ireland, will create 40 new jobs over the next three years. McCarrens says the expansion is linked to a move into 'higher value added' meat products.
