The Companies Registration Office says electronic filing of annual returns through its website is now available to company directors.
The CRO says filing electronically is faster and cheaper than the paper based system and allows for company directors and their filing agents to track the progress of the return online.
The new system allows company directors and their filing agents to track the status of annual returns in the CRO so that they can be certain that the documentation has been received on time. Filing online costs €20 as opposed to €40 for paper.
