British Airways is to expand services at London City Airport with the launch of a new subsidiary airline.
BA CityFlyer will operate 250 flights a week at the airport - a 70% increase on BA's previous weekly services at the London Docklands site.
From March 26, the new carrier will start new direct four-times-a-day services to Glasgow and Zurich and increase the frequency of the Edinburgh service to eight flights daily.
Other destinations include Frankfurt, Madrid and Milan, and fares are available from £39 one way.
BA has been operating at London City since 2003 and ran services there on its regional BA Connect subsidiary which has now been sold to budget airline Flybe.
