Bank of Scotland (Ireland) has completed the rebranding of its retail business into Halifax. All 23 of the bank's retail branches are now Halifax branches, while all product literature and retail customer communications are also Halifax.
The Halifax brand in Ireland comprises the retail branch network, the suite of personal banking products launched earlier this year, the customer service centre and online channels and future personal banking products. Other businesses will remain under the Bank of Scotland (Ireland) brand.
Starting today, Halifax will begin marketing its new brand with an advertising campaign to include national and regional press, radio, outdoor and online.
Halifax opened its first retail branches in January under the Bank of Scotland (Ireland) name. The bank says it is on target to reach around 40,000 customers by the end of its first year in trading.
