Gowan Group has completed the acquisition of the Senator Windows Group for an undisclosed sum. The company is one of the country's leading PVC window, door and conservatory manufacturers in Ireland.
Senator has a network of over 30 franchise dealers and branches all over the island of Ireland. Its head office and manufacturing plant are based in Wexford.
Senator will operate as a separate division under the Gowan Group umbrella.
The Gowan Group is a family-owned holding company controlling many trading companies. Founded in 1969, it is most closely associated with motor distribution through its distribution of Peugeot and Citroën in Ireland.
The group and its associated companies have a turnover of about €400m and employs over 700 people in Ireland.
