Internet search engine Google has announced a significant expansion of its operation in Dublin.
With the support of IDA Ireland, the company will add 500 new jobs to its workforce at its European headquarters in Dublin. The company already employs more than 800 in its offices in Barrow Street in Dublin 4.
The company's headquarters in Dublin is home to operations, sales, engineering and human resources. It serves customers in 35 languages.
The new positions are in engineering, operations and IT, sales, finance, legal, administration and human resources.
