Exploration company Providence Resources has reported net profits of €83,000 for the first half of this year, double the same period last year.
Turnover was up 61% to €1m. This was generated from the group's 20% stake in the Singleton oil field in the UK.
Providence has assets in the Celtic Sea off Ireland, and in the UK and Nigeria.
