British building materials group Wolseley has bought a number of Dublin-based insulation companies from Rhodes Securities.
The companies - Morris Insulation, Acoustic and Thermal Insulation, Customised Insulation Manufacturers and Construction Insulation Distributors - distribute insulation materials in the Republic. They had total sales of €15.6m in the year to the end of August 2005.
No price tag was given, but the group was one of three companies acquired by Wolseley for a total of £22m, according to a statement this morning
