A survey of people whose SSIAs have already matured shows that more then half of savers have continued their savings habit. According to the research by Standard Life, 55% of savers have continued to save.
The research also revealed that one in four people have reinvested part or all of their lump sum in an investments or pension product.
Of those still saving, 53% say that they are saving the same amount, with a further 24% saving more than before.
