DAA to spend €350m on second terminal

The Dublin Airport Authority has unveiled plans to build a second terminal at Dublin airport which will open in three years time

The new terminal will be capable of handling 15 million passengers a year

It will cost €350m to build, and will be situated close to the roundabout on the existing approach road to terminal one.

A planning application will be launched this week with Fingal County Council

The DAA said work would continue on enhancing the existing terminal and a new ground floor check in area will open this December.
