Denis O'Brien's telecomunications group Digicel has raised $150m through a corporate bond to support expansion in Trinidad & Tobago and Haiti.
Digicel says customers in Trinidad & Tobago and Haiti have embraced the company's services, since it launched there in May.
Digicel says it is now the largest GSM provider in the region with operations in 20 Caribbean markets.
In April, Digicel bought Bouygues Telecom Caraibe, which extended the company's operations to Martinique, Guadeloupe and French Guiana.
