Outsourcing group Newcourt has confirmed that it is in talks about a possible takeover offer for Ely Property, the Irish company which is listed on London's AIM market.
Ely specialises in property management and facilities management in Ireland and the UK. It is mainly involved in student accommodation, pre-school learning and private healthcare.
A Newcourt statement said any deal would be funded by a combination of its own resources, debt and a share placing.
