This weekend over 50 Irish entrepreneurs will travel to China as part of this years Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Programme.
Participants include this year's 24 finalists and those from previous years.
The week is divided into meetings with Chinese business leaders and local entrepreneurs and a series of master classes about identifying and sharpening strategies the entrepreneurs will need to do business successfully China.
'As the fastest-growing consumer market in the world, China is bristling with opportunity for Irish entrepreneurs and this year's visit is a fantastic opportunity to assist finalists in developing their business', said Enda Kelly of Ernst & Young.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition is run in association with Ulster Bank, Enterprise Ireland, InterTradeIreland, Invest Northern Ireland and The Ryan Academy.
This year's 24 finalists fall into three categories; Industry, International and Emerging and the winner will be announced in September.
