ISE 'too small to float' - Healy

Irish Stock Exchange chief executive Tom Healy has told reporters that the Dublin market is too small for a flotation.

Speaking on the sidelines of a financial markets conference in Zurich, Switzerland, Mr Healy said the ISE was 'probably too small' and did not need the money.

He added that the exchange had not been approached about a takeover. Mr Healy said the ISE was in a position to watch large players such as Euronext and Deutsche Borse consolidate.
