Readymix says Sergio Martinez has been appointed finance director at the group, joining the board with effect from June 1.
Sergio Martinez is 39. He joined Cemex in 1997, and has held executive positions in the areas of corporate, business and strategic planning.
Readymix is majority-owned by Mexican cement firm Cemex, which inherited its stake when it took over British company RMC.
