Siemens, which employs over 800 people in Ireland, has reported quarterly sales up 21% to €21.5 billion and new orders up 22% to €24.4 billion, compared to the same period last year.
Profit came in at €887m and earnings per share were €1.00, both up 14% on the Q2 in 2004. Group profit from operations was €1.3 billion, 8% higher.
Operating and investing activities provided net cash of €401m compared to €142m in the second quarter a year earlier.
