A subsidiary of security and recruitment group Newcourt, Sigmar Group, has acquired The People Group for an initial consideration of €2.685m.
Based in Dublin, The People Group specialises in the area of marketing and sales executive recruitment.
This is Sigmar's second acquisition since the beginning of 2006. The company provides a broad range of recruitment services through a national network of offices and has achieved strong organic growth since its foundation four years ago.
The People Group had turnover of €1.6m and profit before tax of €451,000 for 2005. The deal will be funded through Newcourt's existing resources.
