Travel group Falcon has added 12 franchisees to its existing 21 Falcon Travel Shops, as part of an expansion of its retail division.
The seven independent travel agencies with 12 outlets have been, or are in the process of being, re-branded as Falcon Travel Shops.
Skytours, one of Ireland's largest independent travel agents, became Falcon's first Falcon Travel Shop franchisee in early December and now operates its three Dublin-city based stores under the Falcon brand.
The other travel agents involved are: Donabate Travel in Co Dublin; Star Travel in Drogheda; Gail Travel in Ennis; Sol International, Tralee; Diamond Travel, Navan and Ace Travel in Limerick, which has four outlets.
