Ryanair has announced that it is closing two routes from Shannon to Hamburg and Stockholm, and opening four new routes from Shannon to Manchester, Wroclaw, Rome and Murcia.
The new flights will start next February.
Ryanair's Chief Executive Michael O'Leary said that the new routes to England, Poland, Italy and Spain mean that 1.5 million passengers will use Ryanair's Shannon flights over the next year.
Almost one million of those passengers will be inbound visitors.
