Bill Prasifka, Commissioner for Aviation Regulation intends to leave the Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) now that his five year term is coming to an end.
Transport Minister Martin Cullen paid tribute to Mr Prasifka's role as the first Aviation Commissioner and for his contribution during his period in office.
The Minister said: 'I very much appreciate Mr Prasifka's commitment and dedication in this important post over the last five years. I would like to wish him well in the future'.
