Britain's Compass Group has dismissed three employees after an investigation into the relationship between its ESS unit and the United Nations.
On October 21, the United Nations said it was suspending Compass as a registered vendor pending the outcome of an investigation into alleged contract bidding irregularities.
Compass, the world's biggest caterer, said this morning that it had sacked Peter Harris, the chief executive officer of its UK & Ireland, Middle East and Africa division, and two other members of staff, and was restructuring the management of ESS.
