Marks & Spencer has announced three new investments on the island of Ireland worth a total of €33m.
The three investments include two new store openings in the Whitewater Centre in Newbridge, Co Kildare and the Abbey Centre in Newtownabbey, as well as the redevelopment of M&S' existing store in Lisburn.
Marks & Spencer now operates 12 stores in the Republic and 11 in the North of Ireland.
The Newbridge store is due to be open in April 2006 and will create 120 new jobs. The Newtownabbey store will open in autumn 2006 and will create 250 jobs, while work on the existing Lisburn store will start in the New Year and will be finished by the summer.
