Costs and currencies affecting O&B

Tools maker Oglesby & Butler has said sales volumes for the first half of its financial year have increased.

But shareholders at the AGM were told that values were still being affected by increased costs and adverse currency movements, and were in line with the same period last year.

The company said further efforts had been taken to reduce costs, while it was seeking new market sectors for products and was currently targeting the automotive industry.
