Ryanair said today its Shannon - Paris route had passed the 300,000 passenger landmark. The route started on February 14 2002 and operates daily.
Speaking today, Ryanair's Peter Sherrard said 60% of the passengers travelling on this route are visitors to the Shannon region.
He added that Ryanair now operate 17 routes from Shannon and will carry 1.5 million passengers in the coming year.
