Woodie's DIY and Garden Centres have opened a new store in Drogheda, Co Louth, which is creating 50 new jobs.
The company says the new 64,000 square foot store and garden centre will bring increased competition to the DIY sector in the northeast and will service the thousands of new homes that have been built along the M1 corridor in recent years.
The Drogheda store is the fourth new store opening for the group this year, while the new outlet in Carrickmines in Dublin is due to open next month. The group now employs about 1,200.
