Oil explorer Dragon Oil said today that a refurbished platform in the Cheleken Contract Area, off the coast of Turkmenistan, had started production.
'The previously reported technical difficulties were successfully resolved and the well is now on production,' Dragon said in a statement.
The company said that significant potential exists in the Cheleken zones and they will be further evulated at an updip location as part of the ongoing field development.
