The Commission for Aviation Regulation says Italiatour Limited of Dawson Street has placed itself in voluntary liquidation and is unable to meet contractual obligations to customers.
The Commission has accordingly revoked its travel agent's licence, while it is also administering a bond held in connection with the licence.
The regulator says customers who have current bookings for travel with Italiatour should first contact the relevant airline, ferry company, tour operator, accommodation or other service provider to finalise their holiday arrangements. Eligible customers of Italiatour Limited who wish to claim refunds for any money that has not been passed on to the supplier may do so from the Commission for Aviation Regulation.
