The board of Cork Airport Authority has appointed Pat Keohane as chief executive.
A native of Cork and a graduate of UCC, Mr Keohane will take up his position on September 1.
A statement said Mr Keohane has had a wide range of international experience across a broad range of sectors, including engineering, project management and international marketing. His most recent was president of Banta Global Turnkey Corporation, which is based in Cork.
