Aviation Regulator delays charge decision

The Commission for Aviation Regulation is to delay its draft decision setting out the maximum level of airport charges for Dublin Airport.

The draft decision had been due for publication this week, but the regulator says it will now be published no later than May 31.

The commission said it had recently received a 'substantial amount' of additional information on the airport authority's performance in 2004, and expected further information on planned capital spending shortly.

The regulator said it wanted to include this information in its determination, which will be followed by a consultation period.
