Euro zone industrial production slumped 0.5% in February from the previous month but rose 0.6% on an annual basis, final data from the EU's statistics arm showed today.
The seasonally adjusted figures mark a weaker showing by euro zone industry in February compared to January when industrial output increased 0.3% over one month and 2.0 percent over a year.
In the 25 nation EU, industrial production fell 0.4% in February from the previous month and but rose 0.4% on the year.
