A County Cavan factory which makes paint rollers is to close with the loss of 45 jobs.
Ezy Koter, based in Virginia, has blamed cheaper foreign imports for the closure, which is due to take place by Easter. The company's chief executive, Max Crosby Browne, told the workforce of the decision earlier today.
He said the marketplace had become increasingly competitive and that the company had decided to source the rollers from the Far East.
