CityJet says it made pre-tax profits of just over €7m in the year to the end of March, an increase of 28% on the previous year.
The airline, which is based in Swords in Dublin and owned by Air France, said sales were up 12% to €171m. Passenger numbers grew by 22% to 1.1 million.
Chief executive Geoffrey O'Byrne White said the improvement was due to control of costs and its strategy of developing transfer traffic through Air France's Charles de Gaulle hub in Paris.
During the year CityJet launched the Dublin to London City airport route, and has since increased the number of flights on the route to five a day.
