Exploration company Ormonde Mining and its partner have started a diamond drilling programme on their Tracia gold project in northwest Spain.
This is one of five Spanish gold projects, and Ormonde says previous work there has identified several targets on what might be a large gold system.
Activities at Tracia are being funded by Swedish mining company IGE, which can earn a 50% interest in the project by spending €260,000 over a two-year period. Ormonde currently holds 100%.
