German drug wholesale Celesio, formerly known as Gehe, has reported pre-tax profits of €329.4m for the first nine months of the year, up 26% on the same period last year. Turnover was 3% higher at €14.2 billion.
Turnover in its Irish wholesale business Cahill May Roberts was €318.7m, up 18.8%. Turnover in its Irish retail pharmacies grew by 8.7% to €82.4m
Celesio said pre-tax profits in both divisions were 'in line with expectations'.
