Clothing chain Primark, which owns Penneys in Ireland, has reported a 23% increase in profits for the year to September 18.
Profits were £108m, while sales grew by 14% to £858m, according to figures from its parent company Associated British Foods.
Primark has 120 stores in the UK and Ireland, and much of the growth came from new stores and extensions to existing stores, though like-for-like sales still grew by 6%.
There are plans to take a small number Primark stores to the Madrid area next year.
