Michael Leahy has been appointed chief executive of Standard Life in Ireland.
Mr Leahy, 33, has been with the company for 16 years and was most recently marketing director for the company's life and pensions business in the UK.
He replaces Rory O'Riordan who retired recently. The company employs 250 people in Ireland.
