Irish diagnostic company Trinity Biotech today said US regulators had approved a finger stick version of its test for HIV.
The Uni-Gold finger stick HIV test gives results within 10 minutes, Trinity said. The US Food and Drug Administration had previously approved other versions of Trinity's Uni-Gold test.
'This finger stick approval provides full access to a new doctor's office market for Trinity Biotech,' Trinity's CEO said in a statement.
