Figures published this morning forecast that France should see economic growth of 0.6% in the third quarter and 0.5% in the last quarter of this year.
French bank CDC Ixis raised its third quarter forecast by 0.1 points, while providing an initial estimate for the last three months of the year.
The economy has already locked in growth of at least 2.2% for 2004, it added, predicting full-year growth of 2.5%.
