The unemployment rate in the euro zone was stable at 9% in June, the EU's statistics unit Eurostat said today.
Other newly published Eurostat data showed a 0.6% monthly rise in euro zone industrial prices in June. The
increase was 0.7% in the whole EU.
The euro zone's seasonally adjusted unemployment figure has been unchanged since February, when it stood at 8.8%. In the full EU, the jobless rate was unchanged in June from 9.1% the month before.
Poland had the highest unemployment rate, 18.9%, while Luxembourg and Austria had the lowest, at 4.2%.
